> In-Home Product Tests
Resolution Research® conducts various in-home product tests which
include some of the following elements: participant recruitment; scheduling,
delivery, and installation of product; ongoing surveys to measure product
performance and satisfaction; journaling including photography and/or cellular
snapshots, and online bulletin boards; analysis and reporting; help line;
incentives, etc. As an example, one such study for a major window covering
manufacture spanned two years, two audiences, and three US regions.
Approximately 100 households were recruited per city and beta test products were
installed in the homes. Survey times were highly specific and tied to
installation and length of usage, for both the consumer and the installer.
Resolution Research provided a toll-free number and assistance for product
questions and comments. Naturally, such a study provides tremendous insight and
strategic guidance for product launches, modifications, branding, and marketing.
